Hey Turds,
Well, here we are. Just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the end of school and start of summer. It’s an exciting time and most of us have a lot on our plates. We think this is always a good time to talk about good housekeeping as things get lost in the shuffle of life…mainly taking care of ourselves and each other.
Please keep in mind that as barbers, we encounter many people throughout the day; we appreciate that you all remember to wash those hands regularly and please wait until you’re feeling better before coming in for your haircut. We see so many people that seem to feel guilty for giving themselves rest and space to get better (whether physically or mentally) and sometimes here at Liberty Barbers, we can be the worst at taking our own advice. So, let this just be a little reminder to all of us that it is OK to miss out sometimes if it means you can recharge your batteries and get those gross germs out of you!

DEBY… Deby is doing her thing…she’s a busy lady on the go. She’s really excited for crawfish season so make sure you invite her to all the boils!

TIPS & TRICKS ON HOW TO MAKE THE EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH LITERALLY EVERY MONTH (ALSO KNOWN AS MOXIE THE GREATEST BEAGLE EVER) HAPPY… Here’s a tip, stop liking cats! And for crying out loud, would you stop doing scary stuff? Another good tip is tummy rubs. Those are good. How about a really good ear itch while you completely ignore all the other animals? Yes please! Always put Moxies’s leash on first and then dote, upon dote, upon dote, upon dote. Another really good trick is to boop me on the nose when I go all rollie pollie. Want a tip on making Moxie really not happy? I bet you can guess (it’s when mommy talks about cats and forgets to think about Moxie).
So get this. Just on Sunday we were watching TV, doting on Moxie, when all of a sudden they started talking about these new singing cats in New York! Mommy was all excited and I just felt so betrayed. She was even talking about getting on an airplane to go see THESE SINGING CATS! I don’t know what’s gotten into her, I think it’s a brainwashing thing. She has been watching lots of shows about cults and cats are the worst cult of em all! I would do some extra research on cat cults, but I am just too busy being EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, LITERALLY EVERY MONTH! I could go on and on about cats, but I think I will take a nap. That’s another really cool Moxie thing that I do. Anyways, follow me for more tips and tricks.
GOOD THOUGHTS FROM THE GOODEST BOY… lol, lol good one Moxie! It’s cool how you beagle this way and that. It’s just like I always say, life is easy when you’re a good boy 5,000. Remember that time we had cheerios with dad? That was really fun. And then chasing the cats was cool and not scary. So that got me thinking… maybe you do like cats? I don’t know. Just another way to look at things. I mean, I really like when mom and dad tell me I’m the goodest boy for just sitting around and stuff. And I know I’m a good boy when I don’t take your snacks because you’re really scary, and then maybe I go see if there is another snack on the counter that I can reach. If I reach it, I can share it. That’s just the good boy Gumbo way of doing things. Maybe if we’re both the goodest boys we can have all the snacks and no worries. I can show you. Pura Vida, Moxie!
